The Aston Martin DB4
The Aston Martin DB4 was produced from 1958 through 1963. The car debuted at the 1958 London Motor Show, where its looks caused quite a stir among motoring enthusiasts. And it still does. The body was designed by Carrozzeria Touring in Milan, Italy. While the design and construction techniques were Italian, it was built at Aston’s Newport Pagnell works in Buckinghamshire, England. It was the first Aston built there. The DB4 has a platform design and the engine is by Tadek Marek.

This is DB4 number two. As in the second one built. Legend has it Aston lent this coupe to Paris dealer Garage Mirabeau for a private showing just before the Paris Auto Show. The engine, by Tadek Marek, was 3.7-liter inline-six pushing out 240hp with a matching 240 lb-ft of torque.
The DB4 became the basis for later Aston Martin models like the DB4 GT Zagato.
